Our History
In 1970, Daniel Monja Granell, a forward-thinking veterinary surgeon, founded what is now Laboratorios LAMONS in Lleida. More than half a century later, we remain the same company: family-run, independent and committed to animal health.
- 1992: International expansion. First markets in the Middle East.
- 1996: Second generation. The Monja Font family joins the management team. New capabilities, same commitment.
- 2019: FAMI-QS certification. A decisive step towards the world’s most regulated markets.
- 2000: EU GMP certification for the manufacture of veterinary medicines.
- 2020: 50th anniversary. Half a century of history and growth.
- 2021: Industry 4.0 strategy, focused on innovation, digitalisation and operational excellence.
- 2026: Innovative SME status and expansion with a new storage area.
